Community mental health and wellbeing

UOK wellbeing service

The UOK Wellbeing Service offers free mental health and wellbeing support for adults aged 18 and over living in Brighton & Hove or East Sussex.

You do not need to have a diagnosed mental health condition. Support may be helpful if you are experiencing anxiety, low mood, loneliness, difficult life changes, low confidence, or feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to turn.

Depending on what matters to you, support could include:

  • one-to-one conversations
  • peer support groups
  • social spaces and community activities
  • education and learning
  • help to find, return to, or stay in work, education or volunteering
  • help connecting with another service

You can attend a walk-in welcome session without an appointment or book a Saturday telephone appointment. Groups and activities are available through UOK Wellbeing Service neighbourhoods across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.

You can use support in any UOK Wellbeing Service neighbourhood. You do not have to use the neighbourhood closest to where you live.
