Homes and support across Sussex
We have been providing housing and support across Sussex for over 50 years. As a registered social housing provider, we manage over 400 homes and deliver a range of housing support services to help people build and keep a stable life.
Whether you need somewhere safe to live, support to keep your home, or help moving on from homelessness — we work alongside you to find the right solution. Our housing comes with the help you need to settle in and build an independent life.
We work in partnership with the NHS, local councils, and voluntary sector organisations across Sussex to make sure people get the right support at the right time.

Real stories
Mark's story
“I didn’t think I’d ever have my own key again.”
After losing his job and his home, Mark spent six months in a hostel. Through Southdown Steps, he found a stable base and the support to rebuild his confidence. Today, Mark lives independently in Worthing.
