“Support work helps a client live their best life”
Viv is a Deputy Manager at one of our Learning Disability Support Services, we spoke to her about her role and team.

“We’re a really diverse team. We’ve got Support Workers from Nepal, Spain, Nigeria, Romania. Oh, it’s good – the meals we have! Everybody’s embraced the diversity.
As a Deputy Manager, I care as much about our individual workers, as I do about our clients. We’re a big service with 28 staff. It’s a good team, a lovely team. It’s a bit like a family.
They really do care about the clients. And that’s good for clients. They’ve got compassion and resilience. They want them to feel their home is their home. They’re very proactive in what clients need and want. They want positive outcomes for them.
Support work helps a client live their best life. Without Support Workers their lives can be a lot smaller.”
